Black hat or White hat? - Dubstep - 06-12-2015
What type of hacker are you?
I own a black hat and I also own a grey hat, but I do NOT own a white hat.

Why don't you own a black one and a white one and then just wear them both
lol

You can't wear both at the same time! That'd be a 2 faced person.

I am not into hacking, but if I had to choose it would be white hat.

This thread is bad and you should feel bad.

Morals and "hat color" divide us needlessly. Knowledge is all that matters, and you have none.
On topic, I have no idea what color my hat would be if I did subscribe to this ideology. Some kinda zebra striped purple dildo I guess?

Generally speaking, to find vulnerabilities and exploit those vulnerabilities, you need some knowledge on how such vulnerabilities are patched.
In computational terms, I'm very security-orientated, hence White Hat falls In that criteria. I never have malicious Intent, so Black Hat Is out of the equation. To answer the topic at hand, White & Grey Hat.

Now that's a quote.

Seems legit.

It really falls down to how moralistic you are and what you choose to do with the knowledge you gain. If you lack knowledge (like @Reiko says), it's unlikely you will be able to do anything useful, regardless of what imaginary hat you pick.
