Carder Posts and You - roger_smith - 06-06-2015
Howdy,
I noticed today that a number of users responded to a post by a carder. I just thought I'd let you guys/gals know that we get hit with carder spam about once a day, and it's usually up to about 4-5 threads. You don't notice them often because they tend to happen around the same time I'm active on the site. These posts come from spambots and are perm banned as soon as I notice them.
Thanks to everyone for being vigilant and helping to keep the forum clean of that crud. If you see a post like that, feel free to his the "report" button; we get a notification at the top of the page just like if you have a PM or are tagged in a post or something like that.

I'd really like to see a wordfilter to ban those guys. Would cut down on mod work nearly 100%

Me too. Would definitely cut down on some of the sillyness. I usually just bulk nuke 'em when I find them though

The nature of these bots have been around for years, on just about every forum I've been on thus far.
The posting format Is very similar to one another, hence a dead giveaway It's an automated functionality.

To buy cards on the site implies that cards are being sold on the site. So you can't have one without the other.

Are you saying that some people buy from these carders? There are buyers from this site?

No, I'm saying there is a possibility. I have no idea if somebody does or does not, because these carders do leave their details, which are outside the forum.

I'd prefer if people NOT reply to the fraud-related threads. Simply report them so that the staff and I may swiftly remove them.

I've been thinking of blocking threads with keywords like "fulls" or "dumps" from people with less than a certain number of posts.
