[JS][NODE] Best lightweight DB? - lux - 05-24-2015 I've been building a URL shortener in Node w/ Express and Semantic-UI. There will be 4 columns in the DB: ID, orginal URL, code, date created. I was looking at MongoDB or CouchDB, but looking for other suggestions. Method for getting the short code is via multiplying the row ID by 100000000, then basically base_convert'ing it via Code: parseInt(DBID, 16).toString(36)to get a fairly decent individual code. Any advice? RE: [JS][NODE] Best lightweight DB? - lux - 05-25-2015 (05-24-2015, 11:54 PM)moltogenerico Wrote: You should give SQLite a go. There appears to be a decent SQLite3 module, I'll try it out. |
