Hello I'm Cyph3rX - Cyph3rX - 05-20-2015
I would like to say hello to all who fall upon my introduction thread, I'm Cyph3rX, I'm here to learn and to teach (where I can).
At the moment I am currently working on a cloud server which I am thinking about sharing here on SL, every member will have access to 50GB of space for a small fee of $5 a month which I will use to upgrade the hardware when I have enough.
The main purpose of the cloud is for sharing files amoungst each other, the files are encrypted on the server side when you first login the key will be generated by your password.
I will post as soon as I have finished setting up the server.
The first 5 upgraded members to post will also receive a reserved username and 50GB free space, after posting please send me a pm with the username and I will add them to the DB as soon as possible, you will receive a pm with the URL and a temporary password.

Thank you for your reply, here is the login screen & the panel, the backend is owncloud, I've added bruteforce protection, hopefully I will be adding some more space soon as there's only 1TB so far.

As @Oni was the first one to post he has got his free 50GB space and his user, he is also the Admin of the SL Group I've created on the cloud.

Hey Cyph3rX, welcome to the forum. Glad to see you contributing already! Can't wait to see what comes of this project! So does this have apps for phones and stuff so files can be accessed or is that a tba feature type of thing?

There are desktop clients and a mobile client which allow you to sync your data between the cloud and the external device.
I will get you a user sorted as soon as I get the laptop back

Your project seems quite enticing. Just as a matter of Interest, what file types do and don't you allow? Wishing you all the very best with It.

@mothered I allow all file types, I'm hoping the users here will begin using it as a sharing facility for developing and the like but at the same time keep it within the legal bounds of the ... government as I would like to keep this as legit as possible.

Domain name and SSL fully functional, we will have some downtime soon but I will update as needed.
