Promiscuous Mode is for Ethernet.
You need a WiFi adapter capable of Monitor Mode and Packet Injection.
I only own Alfa cards, but TP-Link adapters have also reported as working.
AWUS036H, AWUS036NHA, AWUS036NHR are all good adapters.
The NHR also works with most Alfa repeaters - after a firmware upgrade.
If you're cracking WEP, use Aircrack-ng.
Reaver is pretty much useless these days, but the new Fork of Reaver v1.5.1 uses 'Pixie Dust' attacks, which will work with almost all Ralink chipsets and most Broadcom.
If you plan on Handshake cracking, buy a rig,
It's better to use an Evil Twin though, with a phishing page on the localhost.

kali-linux reaver did the job with wpa2.
thanks for the site i will try to get into it even that listing to english with indian accent is not easy after 15 min

Provided the AP Is vulnerable to WPS, then yes, the WPS PIN can be cracked, hence the passphrase can be obtained.

You're lucky.
Most APs have very strong rate limiting now.
Also, you could of used WPSPin, since it uses a default MAC to Pin algorithm.

Incorrect, some WPS enabled devices are 'Push Button' and you won't get past M2 in reaver.
