Manga? - Jiggly - 01-10-2015

Hey guys, I noticed that most of our threads in this sections are primarily about Anime and not Manga. It's not surprising but I wondered if any of you enjoy reading manga?
Is it something you do a lot? Do you ever buy any manga books?

I've read a few random ones (that I no longer remember the name of) but I've never read any from shows that I like. Are there any that you guys would recommend I try? I always end up going into book stores, staring at the manga books and then walking away since I don't really know if I want to bother with them. I know you can get a lot online for free but still. I'm into shows like Sword Art Online and I usually enjoy genres like Psychological, Thriller (sometimes), Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Drama and Supernatural. Comedy is nice when it's mixed in too although that's not an overly important factor for me.

I'll be grateful for any suggestions!

I enjoyed reading Air Gear, and I'm in the midst of reading Fairy Tail. Manga is pretty fun to read, but I still prefer anime.

I don't read a whole lot of manga, since I like being able to multitask. It's easy to multitask with anime, but not manga.

It's true. I think manga matches those people who like to read generally. I used to read a lot but not as much nowadays.

It requires too much sitting down and focusing on one thing. Whenever I do that, I feel like I'm not using all of my mental power.

You've told me such before. It used to be my way to wind down and relax. I'd normally do it right before I went to bed. That or if I was bored. I was a loner so I was the nerd girl who used to sit in the corner of the library either drawing or reading books. You went to computers not books, right?

That might be because you can read books, manga, and watch anime with a computer. Tongue

True. You can also draw on the computer but I just wasn't into that. I felt like I was slouching at a computer desk. I also used to own a shitty old laptop/box computer. You wouldn't want to do much on those.

RE: Manga? - Customer - 01-10-2015

I never really bought manga up until Yotsubato. I usually just read it, and I don't think there will ever be another manga good enough to be bought.

Unless you cool cats have god tier suggestions?

RE: Manga? - Hentai - 01-10-2015

I don't really read mangos unless they don't have an animu attached to it
