How Do You Think up Passwords - Dreek Lass - 04-24-2013

You probably think that I am going to reveal my password to you guys lol, on accident, but that is not going to happen Tongue

I tend to create my passwords based off of merging the names of two things that I really like, in a portamentau of the two words, and then I will throw in a number in place of one of the vowels. These two likes that I will merge usually are secret likes of mine and so no one knows that I even like them, let alone knowing that I would use them for password inspiration.

How do you come up with your passwords?

Generally just a keyboard mash and do the same thing for each new password and write them down IRL.

This could be a dangerous thread Tongue
I have more than one method for creating passwords, I usually create my password for any given site based on the method I feel like using at the time.
And then I promptly forget which method I used, have to use password recovery and keep the randomly generated one if the recovery system provides one.
Writing them down seems to be a good idea now that I think of it Tongue

I remembers everything out form the numbers "1337" my phone number ends on "1297", and I can remember the whole number because of "1337".
There is always atleast 4 numbers in my passwords, and I uses sentences, not just words.

Funny, because I actually thought if I responded to this thread I might accidentally reveal my password!

Anyway, my epic password is...oops, it almost happened.

When I think up a password I usually think of a phrase and then take the first letter of each word in that phrase, then mix it with specific numbers, and voila I will have a password that only I could know and likely will not forget.

My passwords are normally sentences. With capitals and numbers.

That's funny- I opened this thread specifically to tell about this kid I met online a while ago who created all of his passwords by mashing his keyboard and writing them down. I was going to share that story and say how crazy he wasn't.. I'm starting to wonder if it was you.... O.o
