Bootable USB - Soap109 - 08-28-2014 Hey there, Short question. Is there a way to make a USB Drive boot on a Windows and OSX System? Cause I created one but it only works with my Windows PC... I dont think that the USB can boot from 2 OS's but maybe someone got a answer for me. Thanks
RE: Bootable USB - Soap109 - 09-02-2014 Wont work, I tried it with many different styles but I cant boot the stick on my Mac. Any other ideas? Thanks though! RE: Bootable USB - L0aD1nG - 09-03-2014 You can take a look on THIS link for this multibooting program YUMI. I hope that helped you out. Thanks Dude ![]() I will give it a try and see how it works! RE: Bootable USB - h3r0 - 09-04-2014 According to this (http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop/create-a-usb-stick-on-mac-osx) you need to convert it to a UDRW format image. But according to this (https://sskaje.me/2014/02/create-windows-7-8-bootable-usb-drive-on-osx/) having a UDRW formatted image will also work on PC. So try the steps in the first link and you should get a bootable usb stick. Also you should verify your boot order (make sure you boot from usb before HDD). |
