oil drop Photography - persianvenom - 08-02-2014

hey everyone.

i have recently been messing around with my new camera and quickly it's becoming a new hobby of mine.

thought i share some photos from my latest shoots. If i hadn't have take the photos myself, i would think its Photoshop.

what do you guys think?

Plus as a bonus i have a video the process i did to take these photos. worth a look. Smile

Personally I wouldn't care if its photoshopped or done with photography.
I think it looks really artistic and you could make some really abstract pictures with this technique.

All the pictures have a abstract and calm feeling.

I couldn't agree with you more. i myself am a graphic designer so i work with Photoshop alot and i believe its a must for normal photography. saying that its fun pushing the limits of un-edited photos and creating abstract art like the one i did. glad you like it

Agreed, Good idea with the LEDS too.

Next time maybe try something with food coloring/Acryl painting? http://petapixel.com/2012/07/06/how-to-shoot-liquid-flow-photographs/

wooow thank you so much for that link.. i have done shoots with food color in water before but it never turned out as good as the photos in this website. i definitely going to try this method again.

I would think that is photoshop too.
But I am completely noob on both GFX and Photography so what I think doesn't count much. :epic:

glad you liked the photos. that's how i am when i see my friends code. don't know what is going on but all i do is sit back and enjoy the finish work. hah
