Have a DLL sitting on my desktop but don't know how to open it, any programs that will do thif for me?

Try reshacker. It can open some dll and exe files
I used to use it to edit some executables and resource files. It even helped me translate a whole Application [Internet Download Manager] to my native language. :troll:
