Greetings HackCommunity!
You most likely will not care but hey, posting is a good time..
I'm new to HC and I'm new to this handle "h3r0", trying it out... I used to be very serious about computer security and did a lot of fun little hacks and cracks about 8 years ago but when I became of age I dropped it (mostly) and concentrated on honing my programming skills. After all of this time programming professionally and traveling I have to say I would very much like to get back into the game.
My question to you fellow hack community members.. What's new?
So much has changed in 8 years... SQL injection is rare, backtrack is under a new name (I remember when it was Beta), milw0rm is dead, and what not.. Of course this is just a bunch of skiddy stuff... But it was quite fun.
I've have mulled over the guides and it's safe to say guides have not changed... Cracking/skid shaming with lots of vague language.. then again hacking has always been a weird mindset and not a button you can press.
Well.. Any who I hope I can make myself at home here..
