New Hackcommunity logo - Plexcon - 06-10-2014

Hello all, I've been trying to make new idea's for HackCommunity's visual identity. I've made a new logo that I'd like to see for HackCommunity.
@bluedog.tar.gz asked me to post it in this forum section so people could deliver feedback.

Is this something you'd like to see in HackCommunity's visual identity?

As I said in the last tread for me the guy is a little too cartoony and I don't feel it fits the theme of the forum.

I did however really like the text (that's not been used here) How would that look next to our current logo?

Looks nice. But those glasses/eyes whatever they are, don't seem to go well with the whole thing, from MY perspective.

Looking back from it now, I think making smaller in the 'width' would make it more 'serious' looking.

I'm actually starting to like it more as I look at it more.
It's really not that bad.

I honestly like the current logo more. Although the new one would be better if you removed the glasses from it.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I'm currently making another one that you may like better here's a little preview:

There's still some work to be done like the eyes and the nose and stuff.
