Just been nabbing codes off of the internet, just isn't working.

Well, i would suggest learning at least the basics of a language before attempting to code it. In your first post you said you were attempting to create your own, but in this last post you said you were copying stuff from the internet. which is it?

We cant really tell you whats going wrong with the information youve provided in your post. If you post your code we can tell you whats wrong with it, but without knowing what youve done,we cant tell you where youve gone wrong.

I agree with you on that one, Geoff.

Start off with some basic HTML and CSS, then work your way up. there is no shortcuts.

Since the entire form and page have to be setup perfectly to make a form element work correctly, like Geoff and DangerousHacker, I think you should get some knowledge on the basics of HTML before trying to take on a project. If you want to dive into it and discover knowledge on your own, http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp is a good site. http://www.w3schools.com/html/html5_intro.asp If you just want to start out with HTML5. I would gladly just tell you everything you need to know but that's just too much knowledge to post in one reply, and would probably be the most long-winded post on this forum. But I can't, there are resources where you can dive in and start coding in 2-3 weeks or less, HTML is the easiest languages to learn, in my opinion at least. That's how I got started.

If you want the content in an organized fashion, renting or purchasing an eBook maybe your best option. Be sure to read the reviews to make sure the content is in the expertise frame that you want.

It would be really nice if you could post your current code.
