working on an Image Sharing Software - hellomen - 10-28-2013
Hi there,
I am going to create some image sharing software (non-user-register related)
and for that I am going to need some suggestions for the ultimate security touchdown on this installation.
As we might "all" know MyBB is using it's installation on install/install.php and is using a lock file to lock this installer when finished the installation this is the same way I am using.
Aswell as mybb uses a config.php file I use the same kind of way but a bit different... I am making it on submiting the information it automaticly saves it to the file!
Also my installation is a basic one yet known on the inc/install.php and not install/install.php simply because the installation saves important needed files for later on.
I am using the PDO statements aswell as for receiving the posts/gets I will use the strip_tags(); function
For now it remains as a clean installer (none CSS/styling) so it might look a bit of ugly because I am not known into this CSS styling stuff so if someone can get me up great tutorials explaining it well,clear and simply than I'd be happy to watch them!
Will I ever release the image sharing software?
Maybe whenever I think it's good enough!
Will there be a picture available soon?
Whenever I got the installer done & locked, ofcourse!
When you release it will it be Free/Open Source?
Yes, it will be free/open source!
When you release it will it be HackCommunity Exclusive?
Maybe it will or maybe it will be release on some other sites but I am not quiet sure yet
