Things are worse - Psycho_Coder - 06-26-2013

Last few months were quite bad for me and even my exams went worst for the first time in my life. I am completely alone today and I see no one beside me. Even the one  who was everything for me is now with someone else. That personality changed me completely and today that person's absence changed me completely again. But this second change was unacceptable by all others. Within the last 7 days I lost two of my best friends and they are far from me now and today I lost my last best friend too, though all three were girls but they were just friends and just friends. They were all complaining my changed behaviour but why don't they understand my point of view and just told me you will realize what you had done ?

Now what have I done ? I thought they will be there always and now they are angry and are not having any conversation with me and this is quite bad I am lonely completely and I don't even know for what fault of mine they are treating me like this, this last girl told me that you are a machine, a geek , you live with codes and go to hell with them. Also she got more tempered after I told her I don't tell me turing machine. What did I do ?

I have no one with me now what to do I am completely lonely. Everything went out of control.

I know these things might be considered as spam thread on but I am getting to pissed off as I have none with whom I can communicate.

People need to unload from time to time, you talk about exams so I take it you are a young man still in school/college?

Speaking from experience, you are still young and friends come and go and trust me you will make lots more throughout your life. It may not seem like it now but those "friends" of yours that disappear at the first sign of problems aren't really your friends.

Go out meet new people and maybe take up a new hobby, before you know it you'll have a new group of friends and things will start to look up.

Sorry about your exams though is there anyway you can re take them?

In addition to what Chmod's already offered, you'll find these alleged friends to be angry Not at you by any fault of your own so much as having their Expectations of you disappointed because what they Expect and Who you realistically are have thus been brought to the forefront.
We call this a reality check for the benefit of the one checked by reality. In your case, that being them, not you.
Which in turn simply means, since it has happened, it was only a matter of time before it took account of itself (infer a matter of When, not If).
Essentially, it was a given certainty.
Thus it behooves you to choose your friends more wisely rather than haphazardly to fill a void that only time can fill.

But sir they were very good friends all three of them they have always helped me in my work. All of them have made a similar complain that I have become self-centred and closed myself and I have changed. But sir I don't know what change they were talking about, yes I know that I have changed myself but situations has made me do so. Still losing them is even worse than losing a bag of gold :crying:

Yet the action of "having left" remains one and the same because what they Expect[ed] from You was not the Reality of You.
Thus one of 2 things will come about from this:
1-They'll err on the side of better judgment if they truly were what the definition of a friend is by getting over their anger.
2-Or they'll have proven themselves not to be what is defined as a friend by permanently going their separate paths while using you as the excuse for the choice they've made.

RE: Things are worse - noize - 06-27-2013

I had some arguments with my best friends when I was at middle school, but it was never my fault (I mean I never started the argument). Maybe we didn't talk at all for a couple of weeks and then my friend gave me a call saying "Hey, didn't you hear it?" and then something new and maybe useless. What I'm trying to say is that friends come and go, and I'm not saying you'll lose them when they go, they might just come back again.

I'm a bit more lonely since I understood how much people suck.

RE: Things are worse - Boomslang - 06-27-2013

There is a Turkish proverb. Its nearest translation is,
Quote:"The more people you know, more shit you've to deal with."

OK, I'm not an asocial.. Actually I am.. Pff I don't know :/

My bestfriend is a people who I met on Facebook. And he's not even in the city I live. I don't know.. I think social life is like doing rope acrobatics.
If you don't do the thing that majority wants, you got excluded. Well.. Duck  I don't want to lie people and do rope acrobatics. I wan't sincerity.

Anyway, It may not be a great advice but these are my opinions.
Au Revoir..

I'm guessing you're at a university/ college, that's perfect. Go out and just walked around. Look presentable(like someone, someone would want to be around). Also try to smile, be able to laugh, and loose your bad mood, it won't help at all. Try to be happy and make sure your body language shows that you are in a good mood, stand up straight, don't be staring at the ground. Just walk around and talk to anyone who you're curious about. look for things you like and see if anyone is doing those things and go talk to them.

if you're really feeling down and lonely and the above didn't work at all, there's nothing better than drinking and watching naked girls. Perfect place for that is the strip club. It's just a little entertainment if you can't get your own girls. Nothing will make your mood better than some pussy in your face. :p once you have a night out of fun, which you could do without the strip club if you have a better idea, go out tomorrow and try the above again, it might work better once you've had some fun.

Like in Eminem's song "Superman" the line "Bitches they come and go". Same goes with Friends as they come and go. You might feel guilty for your self there's no need to because IT HAPPENS! But I must tell you that a person must have a social life, one must not spend too much time on your Work. For me I work much of my time on my PC but when my Family or Friend calls, I just jump outta ma chair, shut-down my PC and go with em. Always spend time with your mate's, friends, family. Still I get criticized over me using my PC but I neglect all those said thing and continue on. Just forget the freaking past and think about the future. If you lost 10 friends, then forget em and think about making 10 more friend in your future, just try not to make the same mistake due to which you lost those friends.

I absolutely agree with most of this.
Except, the Author did nothing wrong other than acting upon what is needed for himself first and foremost, thus resulting in his "friends" abandoning him on the premise of their personal expectations not being met.
Hence logic dictates he cannot be held accountable for the choices said "friends" have made other than perhaps choosing wisely those he calls friends.
