I registered to this forum out of pure curiousity.
Dont have any notable skill regarding computers whatsoever to be honest, no programming, scripting or anything like that.
Though I have been thinking about learning to program on a recreative basis, as a hobby.
I am searching for the best linux distribution for me to start with at the moment, since to my knowing its highly recomendable.

Have you already decided for a programming language?
Programming will benefit you a lot if you want to do something IT-Security related.
