About VPN (HMA) - Nkhades - 05-10-2013 hello HC I wanted to ask whether is it possible to completely change your IP address and browse without any worry? I already have HMA(Hide My Ass) But the thing is, when i use google something, it shows an error that "a lot of traffic is coming from your server". Also is it true that we have to disable Javascript / Flash as it would override your browser proxy config and reveal actual IP. Does HMA protects us from MaxMind as well? Which has several parameters to detect IPs to be from datacenters / proxies / and etc. Majority of the public proxies will be detected via that. Please help!! ad:

Search both before expecting any Member to answer such considering these kinds of questions needlessly asked contain an answer with abit of research. Also While googling these keyword you just come across the product details which doesn't answer my questions. Then use the answers found via here and/or Google where pertinent as the "age" of most of the content here and even Google will still be applicable regardless of "age". Thus narrowing down your original query to directly enable others to more directly answer what you were unable to obtain via research. Namely, Maxmind being the main question that might require a more human oriented approach. Regarding Javascript, readily answered using Google as I just verified that using the keywords "how to disable Javascript". Whatever may not be available forum side then indeed would be defaulted to searching Google with an inquiry made here If the application of an answer obtained on Google was genuinely problematic. Meanwhile, using a VPN period, completely simplifies all of the above merely by containing all traffic as encrypted traffic while masking your real IP Address to be directly to the point. Normally I push the Research (we all do) first, ask questions later method. But I don't see you as intentionally expecting others to answer your queries with-out putting forth the effort yourself first and foremost. Thus, long story short, using a VPN obfuscates any worries directly related to your thread here. I asked Does JavaScript override your browser proxy config and reveal actual IP? Not, how to disable JavaScript. Which even i am well aware that there are Hundreds of post available which answers that question. I couldn't find the answer to my question in Google. Well call me an idiot but there's nothing i can do about that. Also, i am well aware about ways to use Google as i have been working as a Search Engine Optimizer from past couple of years. I don't want to be rude but how can you say that i didn't do a thorough research about these questions before posting it here. Anyhow the Topic is getting diverted, and seeing above posts i don't think i will find answers about JavaScript overriding your browser proxy config. Which i think is not available yet, at least i couldn't find it." -->>I read every word you've communicated very thoroughly, therefore what you "think" remains incorrect when simply Knowing avoids any needless "thinking" that prevents an individual from correctly understanding what is being conveyed. Had you been correctly reading what is written, you'd have concluded that simply using a VPN to route all of your network traffic thru completely nullifies any worries you may have. "I am well aware about ways to use Google as i have been working as a Search Engine Optimizer from past couple of years. I don't want to be rude but how can you say that i didn't do a thorough research about this question before posting it here." -->>Were you well aware of how to use Google, then you would be reaching the conclusion that optimizing your search perimeters as I previously stated would further avail you of an answer, which apparently you didn't, or I'd not be here to yet again offer rebuttal to your lack of understanding. If you're working as a Search Engine Optimizer, then I suggest you update your own use of a search engine accordingly/ If I thought you were being rude, I wouldn't hesitate to educate you on proper etiquette. Let us hope thus far that doesn't become necessary. P.S.-Then cease diverting the thread. That statement Itself is not True! I was searching for an answer to my questions. Which i was not able to locate/find in Google or HC. Also, I didn't think that Moderate would actually become so rude to new members who just want to clear their doubts :oO: Anyhow i don't think i will get my answers here. So asking you as a Moderator Please "Close This Thread". That statement Itself is not True!" -->>Simply using any given VPN does indeed nullify the direct concerns you made issue of in your thread here. If you choose not to accept that for the fact it is, then you alone are accountable for such, not anyone else, including myself. I suggest you spend more time understanding what it is you speak of before blaming another individual for your lack of understanding. This statement is absolutely true. "I was searching for an answer to my questions. Which i was not able to locate/find in Google or HC." -->>Incorrect. You searched Google and here and did indeed obtain usefull answers. Despite your choice to not use those answers. So asking you as a Moderator Please "Close This Thread". -->>I don't read anywhere in your thread where any Moderator was rude with you in the public domain where any Members are more than welcome to read such for themselves by you, the new User, who allege otherwise. What I read is an individual who happens to be a Staff Member who took the time to directly assist your inquiries, followed by your choice to refuse acting on the answers.
