I don't know I am posting in the correct section or not , but since I wanted to discuss this matter I have posted here . Its a request to moderators that if you feel that this is not the correct Section then move this thread to where it belongs .

My Question :-

Have any one of you ever tried the Unreal Development Kit game Engine to make games .

I used it in a project of mine for college competition (Inter-Science) made a very small physics related game with 6 of my colleagues, Unreal Game Engine is the best engine out there (I think), i.e Killing Floor is URGE made

Well there is one more game engine Panda3D , but its not a GUI , you have to code everything . I made a simple animation using that last year .

If you want to learn UDK I suggest this site http://www.worldofleveldesign.com/categories/cat_udk.php, the project I did was like 2 years ago, I would have given you the source of that game if I had it. We were beginners so our game initially had the size 400 Mb while it consisted of only 1 Level Biggrin I didn't had a big hand on that project since the colleagues in my group were more "I KNOW THAT BETTER" type

Thanks for that link and I don't need the source even if you have it . I would love to code something from scratch all my myself , but thanks for telling . Confusedmiling:

This may sound off, but I strongly suggest you to get rpg maker, it's like a "game engine" in a sense, but it's for making 2d rpg games, it basically gives you a feel for how one might go about coding a game engine.
