CPU Monitor? - par†ian - 04-12-2013

Hey HC,
sorry for the inactivity been busy at work and had no time to chillout and browse through the forum.

Anyways, I have been looking for the last couple of hours for a
decent monitoring program that monitors the heat of my CPU and usage, basically a performance
gadget.

I used the normal Windows Vista/7 Gadget but it sucked, I want it to have a nice GUI
that you can move (preferably to the top right) alot to ask for, but I was defragging my computer
a few days back and it did a simple 'CPU Temp. GOOD' I thought
it was pretty neat, also I am wanting to be able to control the fans I don't mind if it's a seperate program.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

P.S: I did use Google, and it never gave me a satisfying result so maybe their may be a indepth search
people have done previously and/or created or maybe used one, anyways thanks.

You won't be able to control fans without a fan controller.
I'm not a "gadget-man" myself, so can't suggest you any of those. But I would recommend you RealTemp, it displays temps in the taskbar.

If you had Linux, I'd prefer Conky. Easy to use and customize, Install it by typing this command in the terminal:

Code:
sudo apt-get install conky
