What you mean is tunneling SSH?

RE: Free SSH Server - Carlduke - 03-01-2013

..yeah

RE: Free SSH Server - bluedog.tar.gz - 03-01-2013

Are you using putty? ( Which I recommend )

RE: Free SSH Server - Carlduke - 03-01-2013

yes, and shellmix.com (or hypeshell.com) doesn't seem to work anymore..
looks like I have to pay.. is that true or is it just me doing something wrong?

RE: Free SSH Server - bluedog.tar.gz - 03-01-2013

Well you can use for example Firefox and use the SOCKS proxy settings.
Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Connection > Settings

Use Manual proxy configuration, enter 127.0.0.1 under SOCKS proxy, and port *. (This is assuming you left SOCKS proxy settings in the SSH client at their defaults.)

ssh -D 1337* bluedog@server.gov

* = port

What you're doing is making your browser think its localhosting thru the proxy which is the SSH.

What you mean? A VPS with SSH?

Could be anything, SSH is the service, not a server.

RE: Free SSH Server - SergenteJoker98 - 03-01-2013

That's true!

RE: Free SSH Server - Carlduke - 03-01-2013

uhm.. yes, this is true I had followed this guide

but what doesn't work is the login in shellmix.com server.
I tried shellmix.com and Putty said "No route to Host" ..i searched the web for 'shellmix.com' and i got this site ..so I thought that I had to put 'hypeshell.com' instead of 'shellmix.com' in putty 'host name' field and I got a login window that seemed to work.. But then I tried to login with my old user, or to create a new one (with newuser for username and password) and it just told me 'access denied' in both cases.

Maybe, as it's written on hypeshell.com site, there are just non-free users?

(if u dont understand anything of what I said it's cause I'm not english)
