logic/physics question! Check it out - Guxi - 12-12-2012 So guys i got a situation here: We got a truck witch is carrying a pool filled with water. There is guy swimming in that pool not touching anything but water ( So he is floating ). How will his weight affect on truck's weight? m(truck) + m(guy) ? or not?! Don't laugh just think. :epic:
RE: logic/physics question! Check it out - Dawnc0re - 12-12-2012 This isn't paint. ![]() I think it wont affect the truck's weight. RE: logic/physics question! I didn't get what were you sayin' about my painting xD ( It's not my best :nono: It was in hurry ) RE: logic/physics question! Check it out - Dawnc0re - 12-12-2012 But i think it has to do something with the pressure... Not sure... RE: logic/physics question! Well pressure makes a force which can add some weight if it's making pressure in just one way (angle) But there's no pressure here, it's like pool, not closed. So nope. ( only pressure is made on that guy in pool, which doesn't matter at all. RE: logic/physics question! Check it out - H4R0015K - 12-12-2012 i think it will not have affect on the truck weight because swimming in water is like swimming in zero gravity...but if the man was standing then it would had some affect on the truck weight. RE: logic/physics question! Check it out - Coder-san - 12-12-2012 Do an experiment to check this out using a glass of water and some floating weight. According to me the weight of the man should be added. RE: logic/physics question! Check it out - bluesmoke - 12-12-2012 it depends upon human mass ,how much mass this person has +that water...hahahaa another he is floting, swimming whatever he has a weight ... other i forgot i m doing MBA hahahahaha
RE: logic/physics question! Check it out - LightX - 12-12-2012 It will affect the trucks weight UNLESS it is already filled to the top with water. In this case, when the person gets in, he will make some of the water flow out in place of his body. RE: logic/physics question! Check it out - Nailo - 12-12-2012 i think the guy will drown first before finding out. |
