Using Reciprocation - xevenofhearts - 07-17-2013 So you need help, but nobody wants to help you... Use reciprocation to your advantage. To reciprocate to return something Example: Jim bought Jill flowers, but she did not know how to reciprocate the gesture. It's really quite simple. If you do something to social engineering victim, they will be more enticed to help you, or provide information in return. Most people will reciprocate simply as an act of kindness. And anytime someone feels they can be kind, they will hopefully try. Reciprocation is something that you yourself should do in your everyday life. That being said, many people in society do use reciprocation in a social engineering way. People might perform countless acts of kindness, not out of the goodness of their heart; rather to get something back. (Don't be that guy. )Usage: Jim - Hey man, here's a password list I thought you might be able to use. John - That looks like a really good one, I didn't even have any password lists until now. Thanks man! Jim - Hey, by the way, mind sending me that account dump that you got the other day? John - Sending #LOLNOOBZ.txt Victory. Pretty short post, but really, it's a super simple concept. Nothing to hard to wrap your head around. Happy (human) hacking! RE: Using Reciprocation - Techidse - 12-26-2013 I'll try this tactic with starbucks on my next visit. I'll try to bribe them for free.
