Medio 800th post special - Mediocrity_mybb_import6293 - 11-22-2012 Okay so i have never really wrote this down by here goes
Yesterday i was asked how i go into hacking and php programming and most importantly how I found hc I found hc when i was on work experience, here in the uk during college or high school periods students are permitted to 20hours of work experience, i decided to do mine at my uncles internet café which was just down the road from my house, if your a good enough hacker and know how to stay anonymous then you should know most hackers dont hack on their own ip they either change ips or simply go to an internet cafe to do their dirty work, although going to an internet café or local library is totally illegal they take the risk, So back on topic , during the period i was at the internet City, my uncle was telling me about hackers and how they operate in anonymous modes he told me that a guy was recently arrested in the area and his hacks was linked to the ip of the internet café, so basically this anonymous man did his hacking at the shop, i was intrigued and asked if my uncle could get in contact with the man, a few days later the guy entered the shop after my uncle facebook messaged him to come along , he paid for an hours worth of computer usage which is 10GBP and sat at a desk at the back of the shop out of sight of the front admins desk . my uncle sits at the front of a shop on an administration computer, which has a software called net support (Allows You to check over all computers connected to a hub) So my uncle was viewing this mans computer while unwillingly knowing he was being watched the guy logged on to a site called http://www.Thehackernews.com which is still running today, he spent about 10minuete browsing through articles and he appeared to be taking a great interest in reading them, after about ten minuets he logged onto a site called http://www.hackcommunity.com After about 20minuetes of being on the computermy uncle grew concerned about the sites this guy was visiting as my uncle knew that he had recently served a time in jail for hacking he didn't want to phone the police however he kindly refunded the man and asked him to leave. I knew alitle bit about net support and how to rewind the recordings of the pc and check what sites and what names he was typing in I noted down both sites Hackcommunity.com and thehackersnews.com and both to this very day I use daily, more importantly I found out the name this guy typed into hc login page it was “sec0verun” Quote: http://www.hackcommunity.com/User-sec0verun Recently I was able to do alitle more research about this man and I found these articles http://thehackernews.com/2012/11/anonymous-hacker-arrested-for-attacking.html http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/man-arrested-overanonymous-hacktivist-attacks-on-government-websites-8290023.html I sincerely believe this is the guy that I had encountered with, and the crimes that are stated in the above articles are the exact of those he committed, and the location of the man is correct So you may be thinking what the hell does this have to do with what I am today ? Well i was never really interested in hacking being brought up around a web and graphics Developer for a dad and a vb.net program analyst for a brother they both always taught me that hacking was bad and upset a lot of people, however I thought different I thought it would be great to be able to do something that no of my friends would even dream of being able to do? At this time I was around 13 years old (16 now ) I already had a basis understanding on html and php programming but I never really saw myself going anywhere with that I didn’t know them off my own accoutred my dad hired a private tutor when I was around 10-11 years old to teach me html and python but I didn’t like python so he showed me php, however now I had encountered this man I was encouraged to develop my php skills and become a hacker I was almost desperate, firstly like you do with anything you research about it, I loved the idea of a white hat hacker, you could do something which would benefit a lot of people a computer hacker intending to improve security not destroying it, this was right up my street, so later that day I left the internet café researched abit about white hat hacking and how they operate and decided this was for me so I decided to join one of the sites that I found out about from this man www.hackcommunity.com I joined under the username PEGGY oldschool hc members will remember (Jacob, 123hotmaster, Dawnc0re, sage) and so, anyhow I didn’t really have much of a goal on hc apart from learning how to become a white hat hacker I started browsing the threads and reading over tutorials, I remember reading a tut about ‘penetration testing’ this interested me a lot and I started to learn the hacking techniques of DDOS and Social engineering after about three months learning and reading over tutorials on these I started to get to grips with the idea of it all and it started to become more fluent it was at this time age 14 I made my first hack It was a ddos attack on my fathers secondary website It put the website down for 3hours and my dad was very much puzzled he didn’t know it was an attack until he logged onto the server and found the amount of traffic had plummeted dramatically at this point I told him and I got grounded for a week, it was worth it, I believe in some way he was proud of me. To this day I will never forget the words he said to me ‘So you think you’re a hacker do you?’ I was grounded for three days and my pc was taken away from me , after I got it back I immediately made a website of my own on a free host and practised ddosing and social engineering it, at this point about 5months into learning I started finding flaws and vulnerabilities in peoples websites and I can honestly say there was no part of me that wanted to exploit these I informed the admins/owners of the websites and 9/10 out of ten they were very much grateful ddosing and social engineering didn’t seem enough to me I wanted to introduce more hacking techniques so I stated to learn SQLI and Bruteforce the SQLI tutorial I followed was great full of detail and very easy to follow created by a smart guy ‘V1p3r’ from hc infact here’s the tutorial Quote: http://www.hackcommunity.com/Thread-My-SQL-injection-complete-tutorial?highlight=SQLI+tutorial Sqli was great very fun and very easy once you know what you doing its pretty much effective in finding the admin password and then brute force which is a cryptanalytic attack that can, in theory, be used against any encrypted data (except for data encrypted in an information-theoretically secure manner). Such an attack might be utilized when it is not possible to take advantage of other weaknesses in an encryption system (if any exist) that would make the task easier. It consists of systematically checking all possible keys until the correct key is found. In the worst case, this would involve traversing the entire search space. I thought SQLI and Bruteforce were perfect for me! After finding vulnerabilities ion many websites in the space of about 6 months I started to get bored and started to have alittle fun leaning more on the grey hat side of hacking before informing the admin about the vuln I would play around with it alitlle I used to play a lot of text based php mafia games where you earn money for doing GTAs and crimes I would take hours to look for Vulns and I would gain cash instantly I got banned a lot of times but once I told the admin about the vuln I was allowed back on so now I was about 15 years old ben doing DDos attacks and SQLI , bruteforce for about one and a half years I started to get bored and decided to create my own text based mafia script from scratch in php and msql (sage can clarify) this took me about 6months of hard coding to complete I ran the site alone for about 4 months with 200people on average online a day but when I was 16 had GCSE exams at school and had to leave the game so I decided to see for a nice price of 200GBP the site I believe is still open today www.infamousgangsters.com this was about 6months ago I sold the site and now I have nothing to do bar spending all day on hc That’s my life guys hope you enjoyed leave feedback ? Mediocrity RE: Medio 800th post special - unixbreak - 11-22-2012 well your curiosity makes you smarter , makes you different than your friends, makes you capable of doing things that your friends can't understand, don't even dream about. RE: Medio 800th post special - RA1N - 11-22-2012 I am glad that I am not the only one with a real Bio on here now ![]() Nice way of being introduced to the world of hacking mine was from my brother "hacking" a pc game out of a cereal box. I may write a more cyber based bio soon. RE: Medio 800th post special - LightX - 11-22-2012 Congrats on your 800th post!!!
RE: Medio 800th post special - 1234hotmaster - 11-22-2012 Well first of all I love the way you wrote and your story was really fun and you pursued your goals which is good to hear even though people could have stopped you but you didn't quit. Second I can't believe I actually readed something that long Third is Oh yea you were Peggy I don't even know people by their new names XDWell Nathan doesn't apply, Well after all, he has like 50 names XD I personally didn't pursue DDoS or bruteforcing because I did not find any skill in it, just simple automations that take up a lot of time and resource
RE: Medio 800th post special - Dawnc0re - 11-22-2012 Nice Story ![]() It inspired me to start writing on my own story
