Programming Music? - ArkPhaze - 04-22-2012 lol can't help but to laugh a bit, however, I was curious. What kind of music would you guys listen to to get in the mood for programming? For focusing purposes mainly, etc... I'm a bit bored at the moment, and while pondering, this thought occurred to me, so regardless, i'm going to post and see what responses I get. RE: Programming Music? - DaPaus - 04-22-2012 Actually the same music as I work out... Linking Park - Points of Autority Tech n9ne - Riot Maker Also dubstep but without lyrics RE: Programming Music? - HrDe - 04-22-2012 i like slow song with good music.it's also a heart touching. RE: Programming Music? - #Swag_mybb_import6403 - 04-22-2012 Any dubstep or chill rap will do. House is also pretty good. I usually find my music off beatport.com When you start to fall asleep put on some more intense dub. But if I really get bored of silence, I go for something that is easy to listen to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RudpFzGLbo&feature=fvst http://youtu.be/Yn07KtQxMpw (actually quite a few songs from him) http://youtu.be/cegdR0GiJl4 But thats about it. Probably even: http://youtu.be/uI8iTETiSqU but that just because I know it so good that I don't have to think about it =) RE: Programming Music? - Frooxius - 04-23-2012 Aww :-( *thought this topic was about procedural music synthesis* Anyway, I listen to almost anything when programming, I often listen to music when I'm doing something, even drawing. Or more precisely, I always do something (including programming) when listening to my regular music, I don't listen to some music specifically when programming.
