Need CMS advice for my hosting service - nepxwebninja - 04-01-2012

Hi HC Member:
I am starting a hosting service. I have got my domain registered. I will be providing cheap web hosting service. I have very few knowledge on CMS. I want to setup CMS for my hosting websites . There are tons of CMS but i am confused which to start ?

I am looking for CMS that can.

1.Support Customer Ticketing
2.Billing
3.Provide plan about my hosting.

I have few experience Wordpress though.

Any comments welcomed.

Out of the box WHMCS is designed to be used for hosting. Plesk is an alternative, I see it used more often when you are hosting with Windows boxes.

I use WordPress myself, I wrote plugins to handle the provisioning and ecommerce portions of business. There is a prebuilt integration for WordPress that is supposed to work with WHMCS http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/whmcs-multisite-provisioning

I have WHMCS installed in my server for provisioning account . All I need is frontend for my website from where my customer can I signup and start ordering.

You're most likely going to have to hire a front end developer. WHMCS can handle the entire client area, billing system, support area, and it even has a cart. Your front end really only needs to contain, [Home, Why Us, Packages, Contact] and the packages page can contain your packages and when they click "Learn more" or "Order Now" on it, it can be redirected to WHMCS.

I know many of you will have objections, but as he said he not very expert in development, SO wordpress will do fine and yeah
