That is NOT a virus, the name of the thread must be changed. And it should be also in the Batch/Shell scripting forum, I think. RE: Batch tut VERY SIMPLE "virus" - dropzon3 - 04-30-2014 1. A virus needs to replicate itself by injecting itself into other files/processes. So this is just kinda malware. 2. This is kinda a forkbomb...you can do this much more effectively with the batch code: Code: %0|%0Which attempts to execute itself twice(each process then tries to execute itself twice...)) leading to resource exhaustion.
