Programming in C - hoxy - 06-23-2011 Programming in C UNIX System Calls and Subroutines using C. A. D. Marshall 1994-2005 Substantially Updated March 1999 http://www.cs.cf.ac.uk/Dave/C/ RE: Programming in C - HighPriest - 07-13-2011 Thanks for the link, trying my best to learn C. I was told if I learn it the other languages will be easier. I hope...lol RE: Programming in C - HighPriest - 07-13-2011 Hello 7th stage. What do you recommend to build the fundamentals. I have had too much advice from too many people and sure could use some advice. Right now the books I have are Dissecting C and, kinda embarrassing but has good info, Learn C in 24 Hours. I also have some literature on Python, CompTIA Study Guide, Linux Firewalls, Unix and Linux Commands, and a book on JavaScript. I have no idea which direction to go. I downloaded some of the books referred to on these forums. NOTE: Not trying to hijack this thread. RE: Programming in C - HighPriest - 07-13-2011 Hello 7th stage. I always wanted to learn C++ but I know the fundamentals are important. Should I start with Assembly language? Or should I just continue my path on C++ and study something else on the side? RE: Programming in C - sylvertech - 07-13-2011 I am certainly not a professional but I suggest that you dony dive into ASM right away. Take it slow and learn either Python or Perl (maybe Both!) on the side with C/C++ as the main.
