[USB Spreader] Infect via USB Device
INTRODUCTION:
Here's a malicious infection that can easily be spread with a removable USB device, or even to a CD/DVD.
For simplicity and ease of use, i recommend a USB device.
Features:
*** Auto-run enabled
*** Deletes cursors
*** Kills explorer
*** Kills ScreenSaver
*** Kills tasklist, taskeng, taskmgr
*** Disables task manager
*** Blocks mouse input
*** Blocks keyboard input
*** Kills anti-virus processes
*** Kills explorer
Important notes:
*** Extract files completely to a removable device
*** Insert the device to victim's PC
*** Wait for around 5-10 seconds
*** Grab removable device and make a run for it!
*** Please Note: On Windows Vista and later, click on "Watch Lolcat HD" when you insert the removable device
So here's a virus scan report, that's 4/16 detection.
It's only detected by mediocre AV's, hence is undetected to the major vendors. Do the right thing and not scan on virus total etc.
