Website Idea - Bounty Board - Reiko - 09-27-2014

A friend and I recently came up with the idea of a skid bounty board. It would operate much like Roger Ver's bitcoin bounty site, except anyone would be allowed to post a bounty on the pwnage of an annoying skid (chF, lelddos, Derp Trolling, Lizard Squad kids for example)

You enter your target's name/alias, what they did to deserve this, make a deposit toward the bounty and then the site's owners review your submission. If your submission is invalid your deposit will be refunded. If not, it will be held in escrow until someone ruins the day, reputation, or life of the target. At that time, it will be paid out to whoever provided proof of doing so.

A small 5% fee will be charged as commission for posting the bounty.

Good idea or not? The domain has already been purchased for the site.

To clarify, the bounties would only be considered valid if they were posted against obvious fame whoring script kiddies. People who SWAT celebrities for fame and the like.

The only problem I can see with this is the potential for abuse. If it were my site, I would be hesitant to accept targets unless there is clear and valid evidence for what they're being accused of.

Other than that I like the idea. You ofc know the trouble chF caused me and others...

Like @Dyme said, someone could just as easily say this guy was being a scrublord and did this and this, but in reality it's just some random kid trying to have fun on Minecraft that they want to troll him for being 10.

To be eligible to have a bounty on your head, you must have done something so despicably annoying that it's verifiable.

Lol and we all know how quick these kids are to admit to crimes on their twitter. "Fame" and provocation is their objective after all.

Although I do have a lot of money at the moment, I am also looking for venture capital for this idea. If anyone would like to contribute to the bounties and to the development of the site, please send me a PM. I'm considering a minimum $1,000 bounty to put some fear and pressure on these types of people.

You do not have to send me money. All bounty money would be contained in 3/5 multisignature Bitcoin addresses.

Crowdsourced swatting? I can forsee something like this spiralling out of control.

Good luck discerning who is/isn't a skid.
