New Nintendo 3DS Models - Xylate - 09-04-2014
So With the latest Japanese Nintendo Direct centered around the 3DS, Nintendo announced a new model would be coming ( Japan First and then in Europe in 2015, no ETA for NA)
Some of the new features include a second Circle pad ( a little nub) above the ABXY buttons, Micro Sim card reader, and an Enhanced CPU.
What do you guys think, Too soon for a new 3DS model?

I don't necessarily care or notice whenever they make more models but.. why is there a tiny circle pad there and what does it do?

The Tiny circle pad is akin to the 'Right' Analog stick on a Console Controller. What it does will generally depend on the game but as far as I can tell it's only there to control the camera so that the new Xenoblade thats coming out on Wii U will also be Coming out on the 3DS and it will only be compatible with this new 3DS.

I'm just concerned that the built in circle pad pro is going to be too small. other than that, I'm excited for it.

I just upgraded my 3ds to an XL, I ain't got the cash flow for that! Though it does look like a general upgrade. Stupid Nintendo.
