Best Free Screencasting Software? - Nil - 08-13-2014
Looking for one to use, as I have no experience with any of them. As I look at reviews, many people claim the free ones now come coupled with malware and unwanted tools.
Figured I'd ask the intelligent SL community. What do you recommend?

Screencast as in, streaming?
If so I recommend looking into xsplit, i use it to record some stuff but you can stream through twitch too.

It's just software that records your desktop, such as hypercam. In this case, record what is on your screen and being able to save it on your desktop.

For game recording, I'd use Mirrilis Action!
I used it cracked, and it worked perfectly.

Bump. Camtasia is great. I think it can capture at 4k as well.

I'm pretty sure it costs money and the trial only lasts 30 days. At least from the quick search I performed.
