Curious as to why most of us do what we do. For me, its ego. I love getting into something thats supposed to be "secured". What about you guys?

I think your reason is good enough; and I completely agree. I think the beauty of any kind of hacking is to find a vulnerability, and then building a proper exploit to make good use of it ^^

Personally, I love to hack because it's fun and educational. I can learn a few new tricks and it opens doors to new topics. I enjoy hacking so much, I hope to become an employed white hatter for various businesses in the future; maybe a network security advisor.

I hack because it's a means to an ends. I usually don't do stuff "just for fun", I have some purpose.
