SE Hansaplast (and any other plaster man.) - Cressi - 06-27-2014 Yes, it's an obvious guide to many; and yes, it's super simple; but I think the simplicity is the beauty of it. Means of Preparation: Before starting off; you'll need one or two things. - A batch number or alike (if your company uses them) - Get these simply by checking with in-store products. Write these down or photograph them. - Basic stuff - E-mail / phone (although phone is always preferred; this works with e-mail aswell) - Some SEing skills. The deal Onto the method; there are few things in life as simple. What you need to do is the following: - Call them up or e-mail them with your concern, and use one of the following problems: - The glue on the plaster does not stick - You (or preferably your child) got rashes after having used the plasters (refund or gift card possible) - One size of the plasters in the box were completely missing glue (common manufacturing problem; works most of the time). For this one; make sure you stick to it being only one size, as they're manufactured separately. - Once you get the reply; they'll ask you for a batch number (if the use that). Give it to them, and again state how happy you otherwise are with their products, and that this incident was a very disappointing time for you. - They should now be happy to replace/refund you, and since the values are so little; you hardly need a drop. Give them your address if they're sending you a replacement, and wait for the product to arrive. - Make sure to always send a thank-you e-mail back to them upon receiving the product. Should you encounter problems; those are usually easily solved. - They require a POP? - If you feel good at handling receipt generators/printers; do so (or ask to have one made for you if you know someone in the specific store). - If, for any reason, you do not; there is still a way out. - What you want to state is that you either received it as a gift from an acquaintance (make up something good; examples at the bottom); or that you threw away the receipt, as there have never been any problems with their products before. - They're refusing to send you the product or refund? - Now it's time to use your SEing skills; and make sure you convince them you need it. - Some examples of this are: - "I'm going abroad soon, and I've started building a first-aid kit. Without your plasters; it's incomplete." - (About the one with the rashes) "My child reacted very strongly to this; and my doctor suggested I keep the plasters away from my children as they are a health issue." - Remember to think about how it would actually feel being refused something you've paid for; and don't hesitate to be too stubborn. After all; they're the bad guys in this, and you're merely a hard-working citizen. Excuses for refusing POPs: This is an art in itself; and can be incredibly useful when not having a receipt at hand. Some good excuses are as below. - "My parents bought me this as a move-from-home gift; and it disappointed me very much to find they're defunct." - "I received this from an old friend during my baby shower, so that I would always be prepared if something would happen to my newborn." - "I use these plasters as part of my first response-kit, and it never occurred to me that something that well-used could be malfunctioning." - "My children bought me this as a mother's day gift, as an addition to our home-hospital, and it broke their hearts when they found they these trusted plasters were not measuring." ...those, along with many others, make up for a very good arsenal to keep with oneself when looking for free goods of any sort. Also, if you're looking for a refund only; you could tell your company that you're currently abroad or away from home, and therefore not able to receive any packages at the moment (thank you, Sparky). Thanks! As always; I hope you got most of this guide, and may it help you towards better days with more covered wounds. Should you have any questions; please reply (if you can manage to, @Aurora), or send me a PM; and I'll help you out to my very limit. "The purpose of human life is to serve, and to show compassion and the will to help others." So, thank you for reading; and Have A Nice Day! RE: SE Hansaplast (and any other plaster man.) - Eclipse - 06-28-2014 Interesting choice of product. You could always say you're away abroad so you won't receive the replacement, and then accept the refund.
