I don't usually SE, but this method really seems easy and simple to do. If it works, I'll be back with updates and proof.

In all honesty, I really don't! I've tried it before, but it just wasn't my thing.

If anything, I plan on just reselling them or even giving them away to someone.
They just responded today: they asked for a name and address and they'll send over only a replacement battery and a refill, sadly.
