How to SE Battery companies for money - NBA - 06-18-2014 This is my personal method I (NBA) thought of, and used. I found this in my old SE.txt file, I remember doing this in 2012, so yeah it should work now too as nothing really changed. Spoiler:
Step 1 : Find a gaming mouse or gaming keyboard which requires batteries. Step 2 : Find a small battery company (You can try this with a big one but the risk is bigger). Google AA Batteries for finding one. Step 3 : Contact them via email, or if they have live support, do it via that. Say the following thing : Hello, I bought 2 AA batteries from your company a week ago, and my old batteries stopped working, so I put the batteries into my gaming mouse. They were just removed out of the packet and not even touched before I unpacked them. They were working fine for a few hours. I then switched off my PC and went to sleep. When I woke up in the morning, the batteries had a white liquid coming out of it, and it was all bubbly. I used a napkin to open the lid and my mouse was destroyed by the liquid coming from the batteries. This happened with only 1 battery, the other one was still intact. I then cleaned my mouse up and tried putting different batteries into it, but it didn't work. The mouse cost me $_ _ (Try not to do higher than 100 because that makes the chance of success lower) and I don't have the money to repurchase it. I demand a refund or compensation of the mouse, and of the batteries. (WRITE THIS IF YOU WANT TO, NOT REALLY NECESSARY) If I don't get one, I'll be contacting my lawyers soon (Try acting like you don't want to contact lawyers but you have to). Your Name Here Step 4 : They should either give you a refund of how much the mouse costs, if they didn't, then act like you're contacting your lawyer, and then try this on another company. TIP: 1. Instead of a refund you can also SE a huge amount of batteries. Feel free to PM me for any queries related to this! RE: How to SE Battery companies for money - BreShiE - 06-18-2014 >doesn't have money for gaming mouse >has money to hire a lawyer and pay court fees wat. There's a few floors in this story, but hey if it works, then awesome. RE: How to SE Battery companies for money - NBA - 06-18-2014 To be honest I didn't take the lawyer thingy, and I forgot to write (OPTIONAL) behind it haha RE: How to SE Battery companies for money - Cressi - 06-19-2014 Yeah; I'd probably skip the lawyer, and instead push on for my refund; but it's a rather classic old method; and works just like that way ^^ Thanks for the share
RE: How to SE Battery companies for money - Diego - 06-24-2014 Can i do this inside the store? You'd need proof that the mouse was ruined by battery acid, wouldn't you? Tada. (06-24-2014, 02:44 AM)Diego Wrote: Can i do this inside the store? Could but I wouldn't advise you doing it. Much harder to pull off. RE: How to SE Battery companies for money - Diego - 06-24-2014 How would it be harder to pull off? Id just go to a small battery store and ask for a manager or head of the store and explain to them what happened. If they ask for proof i can just say i threw that shit away because i did not want to get hurt from whatever was leaking onto my mouse. You seem to have your story on lock, might as well try it out then. |
