New PC - Need help! - Flareon - 04-05-2014 Looking for a decent gaming PC as my laptop is awful.
Any suggestions? I keep looking and I am unsure what I should buy. My budget: £475 - UK only. RE: New PC - Need help! - Sirius - 04-05-2014 I suggest buying VIBOX ULTRA! RE: New PC - Need help! - Nyx - 04-05-2014 Just build your own PC. You'd save so much money and get a better PC still. PC parts are just like nerdy legos! RE: New PC - Need help! - Cake - 04-05-2014 The R7 240 sucks dick. Build your own PC genius. I have looked into it but I'm unsure what's good really. (04-05-2014, 11:24 PM)Kodo Wrote: The R7 240 sucks dick. Build your own PC genius. You think I haven't looked? Suggest the parts then "genius". RE: New PC - Need help! - cr33pyguy - 04-06-2014 What level of gaming are you planning on doing? Let's say... (list based on graphics and demand from PC) Entry: LoL, Dota, counter strike, team fortress 2, etc. Mediocre: Skyrim, newer CoDs, GTA IV Top: Planetside 2, Elder Scrolls Online, Watch_Dogs, Titanfall With your budget you won't be reaching the top level, at least not straight up. Also, at that cost buying a pre-built PC would be the best, since just windows costs 150€ (more in £ I believe) that would leave you with around 300£ for hardware assuming you won't buy virus protection or other software and for 300£ there aren't a lot of parts that could do medium level gaming. However, if you got compatible low level parts you could upgrade whenever you get money/want to. Also, I forgot to ask whether you'd need monitors/keyboards and other accessories for the same money? I'll gladly pick out some parts I think would suite you well. I will edit this post / post a new post when I collect them. If you get this combination of parts be sure to update the motherboard BIOS. It's usually simple. Spoiler:"Some AMD 970 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vishera CPUs."
