I think that the developers just forgot to add a rule disallowing the siri shortcut whilst the device is locked. nonetheless still very interesting.

Mobile security is sort of a joke right now. It is easy to get in with physical access - for the most part.

Well the video poster did take the phone out of the frame so it might not be legitimate, or it's patched.

it works, make sure:
1. your phone is 7.1
2. the song is IN the music library that itunes has installed for you, not any third party apps

I'm the video poster lol. The phone was taken out of the frame not during the exploit. We made sure to keep the phone in view 100% during the procedure to show it works.
