LatexOp | Tag/Signature - latex_op - 01-21-2014
This is my try to make a tag/signature. I made it just for fun nothing professional. Feel free to criticize.

I personally think that it could do with some stroke, though that is just my personal opinion. Also, I think you may want to work a little bit on your text and placement of both the text and the render. They feel like they are tucked away in the corners, something which isn't that good. Try to overlap the text with the render and make it stand out alongside the render. You may also try to add C4D's and Fractals to make more effects and perhaps add some depth to your work. To do this you will also need to work a little on the light and shadows around the text and render.

Regardless if a piece of art is made withing a single minute, it may still be good. You obviously meant that this tag wasn't all that great because you added "no offense" to the end. Just to notify, you cannot say that a skilled artist is bad because he made a piece of art quickly. I, personally don't use more than a couple of minutes ( normally ) on my tags.( How you choose to view them however, is up to you. )

If it takes less than 10 minutes, that does not mean it's bad. Not much effort was put into it. I never said it was bad because he put no effort into it, I'd rather not explain a true tag. It's a render on a background, nothing more.

So your opinion is that a piece of art cannot be good unless some amount of effort is put into it? Not even for a talented artist?

Talented artists put their time and effort into all of their work. I'm not saying it can't be good, but there is no style in this work. It's a render and a background, do you not see it?

And a render on a background cannot look good? There is no chance whatsoever that it can look good? Every piece of art is unique, every piece has its own look and style. You asked me if I could see it, and I can obviously see more than you do. I see a piece of art, and unique piece of art and artistic hope.

You don't see more than me, your eye is obviously not used to it if you find a simple render and background art. End of story, quit replying.
