Hi Sam! I'm new too, so we can be newbies together. By the way, I love reading as well and write for a living, so it seems like we have things in common.

It is nice to meet you, LindaKay! What kind of books do you like to read? I like to read contemporary fiction because it relates to real life stories. My favorite authors are Sarah Dessen and Elizabeth Scott.

I like all sorts of books. I recently went to the book sale at my local library and stocked up -- paperbacks were only fifty cents a piece. My favorite authors are Nicholas Sparks, John Grisham, James Patterson and a few others. I'll give just about any book a chance, though. I also love to read magazines -- I have tons of subscriptions that I got for free. I really love reading lifestyle magazines and cooking magazines.

Nicholas Sparks! I like some of his books such as "A walk to Remember" and "The Last Song". Have you seen the movies? I think they're so good!
