Do you celebrate Valentine's Day? - True2marie - 01-03-2014
Me and my sweetheart never miss giving each other gifts on Valentine's Day. It's the one 24-hour period in the year specifically geared towards couples. Our feelings are shared by everyone. We know other couples who pass on this holiday based on the commercialization of it. Also, they feel they can give each other love anytime.
What is your stance? Do you celebrate Valentine's Day?

I do. I love all holidays, including Valentine's Day. My BF thinks Valentine's Day is stupid, but I make him participate anyway. He also hates Christmas and pretty much every holiday. He's weird.

I haven't really celebrated Valentine's Day much before I have been single for a while until last year. I don't think Valentine's Day is that special because if I want to celebrate, I can just celebrate anytime. Another thing is that since I have gotten married, I can celebrate anytime like a Valentine's Day.

No I do not celebrate this particular day, when I am in a relationship I make sure every day is celebrated and an occasional special celebration also takes place, I dont need one specific day for ths.

Not really, no. Sometimes my boyfriend buys me a necklace or something on Valentine's Day. But, we don't really celebrate it. This year, we might go to see a movie on Valentine's Day though.

I always have loved V-day. My girlfriend and I usually do something together and then my son and I have a date together. We've had that tradition since he was 2. He's 9 now. I figure it'll stop in his teens. "Mom! I don't wanna go out with you!"
