Read before you continue
You can edit everything in your admincp. You don't need to do this via FTP.
If you want to do this via FTP, simply open /inc/languages/english/newpoints.lang.php.

We'll change this:

Go to AdminCP > Configuration > Languages > YOUR LANGUAGE > Options > Edit Language Variables > newpoints.lang.php
and search for "newpoints_home_desc".

Just change everything you want.

Next, go to AdminCP > Templates & Styles > Themes > YOUR THEME > global.css
and add following code:

But nice tutorial. I may implement this actually, when I find the time for it. It looks way smoother than the default style.

New points is a pretty boring plugin as far as looks go. I've seen this one before, but it's a great tutorial.
