Android Remote Recorder - Lynux - 03-15-2014
Hello All,
I want to build a remote recorder so basically an application which will sit quitely on a Android device and start at boot waiting to connect to a server, and the server can respond with a few commands such as "record" and have it stream everything back to the server, but I have no idea where to start.
Can someone point me in the right direction for this or give me a few tips?

If you really have no idea where to start, I would recommend learning java...
Past that, I would look into disguising it as a legitimate looking app, since I think all processes are displayed in android's task manager.

1. Register it as a service, give it a name like "GooglePlayResponder" or something similar.
2. Just make it a VOIP call with the speakers disconnected.
