Pretty badass, Crow. Maybe make the "V" on the sword the quillon? Other than that, good job.

Yes.
It's easier to just pen tool everything.
Plus I don't really know any other way to make stuff from scratch.

Do you use shapes? If not, How do you make perfect circles and other kinds of shapes.

That is kewl.
However, don't think you'll escape without some sort of feedback...
So, the logo is cool, I really really like it.
The idea of the sword is interesting, however, you could maybe scale it down a bit, and move it up to make that be the sheathe...
also, the sword's style is completely different... you would need more sharp turns instead of just smooth forms.
anyway, creative, and well executed.
