How To Receive A Free Nintendo 3DS - Feat - 11-28-2013

[hide]Note: You needa prepaid credit card with at least $5. You can purchase these at 7/11, Walgreens, or any grocery store.

Step 1: Call Nintendo at their main number: 1-800-255-3700. Choose 3DS support then choose to
speak to a representative.
Step 2: Use a story similar to the following. The more you change it up the more likely you will receive a 3DS!
"Hello, I purchased a Nintendo 3DS a few weeks ago and have been loving it since. Today, my Nintendo 3DS’ touchscreen suddenly became completely unresponsive.”

The representative handling your case will proceed to ask you to try calibrating it and doing other troubleshooting steps.

If they ask if it only happens with one game, say:
“No, this happens even when I am at the home screen too!”

The rep will than attempt to troubleshoot with you by telling you to hold the “L”, “R”, and “X” while
pressing the power button to get to the calibration screen. He/she MAY ask you what is currently
on the screen:
“I see Calibrate Touch Screen Input. Tap the center of mark with the stylus.” The representativewill ask you to calibrate it.

“I still have the same issue, I am tapping as hard as I can but the Nintendo 3DS will not recognize!”

Step 3: The representative will then inform you that the Nintendo 3DS needs a repair and that
you need to ship it in. Give her an excuse, I personally said “I need this as soon as possible because I am leaving for a business trip this (date of next week)”. You could also say that you are entering a LOCAL gaming tournament and the competition is coming up fast. I prefer the gaming tournament method.

Step 4: He/she will then apologize and ask for a serial number. Below is a list of UNUSED serial
numbers.
