Hello, it's been a while!
I'm looking to SE a nvidia GPU from amazon (around $2400), with a similar (different model but same brand) core/vram removed gpu. Is SB still possible with amazon? It came shrink wrapped, and I have the tools to reseal it. serial number are both on the outside of the box and on the backplate of the card.
However, to retain the resale value of the gpu (also in case i need to return the original gpu to amazon for some reason) I would really love to not swap the serial number.... Not sure how that would hurt the chances of the SE....
If I want to keep the original serial number, should I delay my return until october prime day in around 10 days so the return volume is presumably higher?
forgot to mention that the weight is only around 200g different and I think I can easily match it to around the same level for the swap.
