Discord Ban in Philippines - Snickerdoodle - 09-25-2026 On September 23, 2026, Discord was temporarily blocked in the Philippines following an order involving the NTC and CICC.
Authorities raised concerns about child safety, grooming, and Nihilistic Violent Extremism (NVE) on the platform. Discord was also asked to establish a stronger presence and cooperation channel in the Philippines. The ban lasted only several hours. Ironically it's not the kids that are going to be targeted, it's the average consumer or web-surfer that provided KYC. Everyone has to bend the knee to cover for subpar parents. Just watch what your kids are doing online. Parents are treating computers like babysitters.
