Funny things happened while SEing - Green314 - 08-29-2026
There used to be a thread about that, I made it, but after the forum has been put back online by Oni with the early 2025 backup it's not here anymore.
I wanted to tell you a funny thing that happened last week and I feel like telling you now because I actually ended up succeeding with it, to my surprise.
I contacted a company via an online form filling a SE for a luxury company (btw you can find the name of the company in my ebook) and I was doing multitasking things at once, and ended up copying and pasting something from a LLM with the prompt also, which was telling something like "create a manipulated email for achieving etc..." and I sent it with it by mistake. I was like "come on I fucked up this SE so quickly, ugh", then a couple of days ago they replied to me like nothing ever happened
and I could still read my pasted query in the form. Probably they used a LLM as well for the answer and it ignored that; if there was a rep surely I would have fucked it up instantly. So they fired a person to put in charge a LLM instead, thinking of becoming better and cutting costs and saving money, but I ended up fucking you nevertheless.

SAME! I did not fuck up that bad, but it really feels like LLM's are doing customer support now. I've had what felt like AI responses a lot recently.
"Oh yes, I see you FTID'd us. Very good, sorry for the bother, here is the refund, sorry for the wait." Kinda stuff.
