motivation is an emotion. It will come and go. You need to rely on discipline. Doing whatever you tasks you need to do regardless of how motivated you feel.

I personnally wait going really deep into depression before finding a strong motivation. Spend few years smoking weed, doing almost nothing, and then few others having a discipline and learnt coding. I'm really proud of this and I felt really happy to realize I could learn stuff I thought I couldnt. Seeing yourself evolve and growing can maybe be motivating...
