I’m going thru a switch on Amazon,
Buying a broken 4090 and swap it out for a new one.

remember to also switch s/n sticker on the card and check if the s/n is anywhere else (box etc)

Amazon wont check if's a real one or even works, they only check S/N and if the weight is correct
So be careful you only got one shot
Side Note: Wait until January ! the 5090 is around the corner, keep the good account stance for the 5090

Bought the card for 150 sold for 1.3k.

What retailers are selling 4090s still? I could only find Amazon and i know for sure i'll get banned if I pull this off on them lmao.

Would probably be a little while before we see a significant amount of broken or coreless 5090s no?
By the time the 5090 comes out and we start seeing some cheap broken ones on ebay the account might be in good standing?
Also how likely is it that Amazon would find out about the swap at all?

I'm curious how much weight the core and vram are and if that will be enough to cause some suspicion about the card. Perhaps add an additional accessory in the box to compensate for the discrepancy weight without raising suspicion?
