Help with PayPal Invoice Refund - enether - 08-07-2024

Hey,

I did something dumb and bought a service for $10k through PayPal.

1. I immediately wanted a refund but the seller wouldn't give me.
2. I have been in discussion with PayPal since (1 month), but it's been hard. I'm not convinced they'll help
3. I will be talking to my bank as well

Does anyone have advice on how to deal with this? I'm willing to pay for help.

For the record, I paid with phone number and email X, but the service was delivered on email Y and phone number Y - so there's no real way for PP to prove I received the service. Nevertheless, the seller provided them some records and they believe him

What is the easiest way to get an authentic refund from PP for such an online service? (weekly calls + online program)

I'd say first try claim through paypal how the service is not as described / different then advertised - weekly calls are unproffessional / unorganised / low quality - the seller misleaded you into buying the course

If that fails - then contact you bank and chargeback through them
dont contact bank first try through paypal first, paypal may block your account if you chargeback through the bank
